Its the little things...

I got this sweet gift from my lovely little sister at the weekend, how cute is the little bird?! (the box is super pretty to! Very Cath Kidston!) Im still trying to figure out where to hang it.  It was a thank you gift, which I wasn't expecting at all...surprise gifts are always the best :)

Hope all you lovelies are having a great week & enjoyed making pancakes! Me and the boy completely forgot it was pancake day, so we've decided to make some tomorrow instead...I'm thinking pancakes with nutella and banana umm :) On another random note, I can't believe Valentines Day has come rolling round again! I really need to get my ass into gear and get the boy a card and gift! lol!

Lifestyles Of The Rich & Foamous...

Rich & Foamous Body Wash £6.50 / Daily Smooth Body Butter £8.50 / Flake away body scrub £7.00
I love Boots (a drugstore in the UK), I love Soap & Glory and I love a good 3 for 2 offer! So when all of these fit together like they did this week, I'm one happy blogger!

Out of all the Soap & Glory products on offer, I decided on these 3, the Flake Away body scrub, the Daily Smooth body butter and the Rich & Foamous body wash.

The Rich & Foamous body wash smells A-mazing!! The scent is Almond, Oats and Brown Sugar - what is not love about that!? It creamy and lathers up a dream. The scent lingers on the skin for a while after I get out of the shower/bath to. I'm naughty and sometimes skip moisturising when i get out of the shower/bath, I find when i use this, if i miss that step, it doesn't matter, my skin still feels moisturised! This product is well worth a try!

The Flake Away scrub is by far the best scrub iv tried (so far)! Its gritty and quite a hard scrub, but I like that, I feel that its really working! It has shea butter, sugar and peach seed with skin soothing sea salt and grape seed and almond oils.

I can really smell the peach and almond oils in this! This really does make my skin feel silky smooth, but I always moisturise after using a scrub! This is another Soap & Glory must have!

The last product I purchased was the Daily Smooth body butter.  I got given a little travel size of this at Christmas and loved it so much that i decided to purchase the bigger size (although this is just the 250ml, I'm pretty sure you can get a 500ml size).

This to me smells like a holiday in a tube! This body butter includes rosehip seed oil and cocoa butter and has notes of bergamot, blackcurrant, magnolia, freesia, vanilla and musk. Its quite a "grown up" scent, its not like the staple The Righteous Body Butter from Soap and Glory (although that is a fave of mine).

Its quite a thick cream, but sinks in to the skin almost instantly and leaves my skin feeling super moisturised and smelling great, with no oily residue! Like iv said before, I'm a tad lazy sometimes when it comes to putting on moisturiser after my shower/bath but when a moisturiser sinks in to the skin as fast as this, it really doesn't make it that much of a chore to do! Another Soap and Glory product I would recommend!

Hope you lovelies have / have had a great Monday!

Space NK Sale: Mini Haul...

This works beauty ball (Turbo Balm) £5 in the sale / Laura Mercier tarte au citron candle £17.50 in the sale
I'm a little late posting this, but better late than never...and I just had to share this!

It was my first EVER purchase from the Space NK website! After hearing about the Laura Mercier Candles on one of ViviannaDoesMakeup's youtube videos, I just had to go check them out!...SOOO glad I did!

Upon lusting over the Laura Mercier candles Spacke NK had to offer, I decided to go for the Tarte Au Citron Candle and while I was browsing the sale it would have been rude of me not to have a look through all the other products the sale had to offer! I spotted the This Works beauty balls and at just £5 a pop (down from £10) I thought id pick one up, I decided to go for the Turbo Balm Beauty Ball.

I heard a lot of beauty bloggers rave about the This Works beauty balls and when I saw these beauties in the Space NK sale at half price (£5 down from £10) I knew I had to pick one up! I decided on the Turbo Balm Beauty Ball. It is described as a natural multi-tasking balm that moisturises dry skin on both the face and body and is ideal for beauty on the go.

Its a combination of monoi oil to hydrate, cocoa butter to moisturise and rose oil to strengthen and repair dry skin. I always suffer with dry and cracked lips in the colder winter months so thought this would be perfect!

Its a little hard to get the product out, I have to swipe my finger round the pot a few times to get enough product out but once applied it glides on like a dream.  You would think it would be quite a thick consistency but its actually quite fine so I find I need a good few coats of this for my dry lips and elbows.  I don't think I would have purchased this at full price but overall its definitely a product I'm enjoying using!

This is the gem of my haul! I cant get over how nice this smells! I've tried to repurchase this online since but realised that it was limited edition and cant find it anywhere! When I realised this I could have cried lol!  I haven't burn this yet, I don't think I even want to! (or need to, you can smell it in the room without even lighting it!) I don't think I can bare to be without this scent in my life! lol

The Laura Mercier Tarte au Citron candle captures the essence of lemon, bergamot, cassis and warm crème fraiche, and blends it with delicious notes of whipped vanilla custard, baked pastry accord and velvety musky woods - YUM!

If you can get your hands on this beaut, I would highly recommend purchasing! and if you could let me know where there are some in stock I would love you forever! ;)

Hope all you lovelies had a great weekend! I personally think this weekend has gone by waay to quick :/ I'm not looking forward to this Monday lol!

The Selfridges Valentines Beauty Box...

So I open up my emails this morning and up popped an email/update from Selfridges letting me know their Valentines Beauty Box is now live and ready to be purchased.  I missed out on the last few beauty boxes from Selfridges so instantly trawled their website to investigate more!...

"Prepare to fall in love with Selfridges' Valentines Beauty Box, available exclusively at Selfridges.com. Whether you're sending a gift directly to your loved one or pampering yourself this Valentine's Day, the box is the perfect partner for any beauty addict.

Rose really isn't the scent for me and as this box features, lets face it, allot of rose scented products, I probably wont be purchasing this one! But for those of you out there that are a fan of the rose scent this really is for you! I would love to try the Stila Lipglaze though!

Hope all you beauts out there are having a great week!

Primark Haulin'

I always find Primark a bit hit and miss, for me anyways.  So when I found these studded beauties I just had to nab them! Although I'm noticing that Primark have been bumping up their prices lately! In Primark, if I'm paying over £10 for something, I feel like I'm paying way to much lol!

The shirt is a sheer, chiffon material with a dipped hem at the back and the cutest studded peter pan like collar, I love the strip of studs down the middle and the fact the buttons are concealed - very 'Zara' lol! but for a fraction of the price (about £12ish).

Im a fan of the slipper like shoes, studs and anything with a tash on lol these shoes were must! and sooo cute! They're a soft suede and oh so comfy and a bargain-licious £8!

Iv actually had a pretty good Monday for once! Hope all you beauts out there have to! I hear we're in for more snow! fingers crossed! Any excuse for a day off work curled up on the sofa in my PJ's!!

January favorites...

01.  Soap & Glory Daily Smooth body butter:  With rosehip seed oil and cocoa butter, to me this smells almost like a holiday in a tube! It smells amazing! & is so moisturising, it soaks in to my skin like a dream and i smell amazing! This is just a sample/travel size, Im DEFO going to be purchasing the full size of this when i run out!

02.  Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy:  I got bought this as a Christmas present and was pleasantly surprised. I love sweets feminine perfumes, this fits the bill a treat! Iv found that iv been reaching for this pretty much everyday.

03.  Origins Drink Up Intense Overnight Moisture Mask:  This smells seriously amazing!! Really mango-y, LOVE that smell!! This is only a sample size i received with an order, but you only need the smallest amount, so this sample size has lasted me a while. You leave it on over night and you wake up in the morning with super moisturised and plumped up skin - a defo fave this month!

04.  Soap & Glory Hand Food - I'm a major fan of hand cream! especially working in an office with air con and what with the cold weather, my hands get quite dry. This isn't oily, sticky or anything like that.  It sinks in quickly, smells amazing, like all soap and glory products do and i can really notice a difference since using this! I don't think i could live without this now! a permanent staple in my handbag!

05.  YSL Shocking Mascara:  Seriously love this - read my review of it here.

06.  Blistex Intensive Moisturiser: I get really really dry lips in the winter, and dry, cracked lips under lipstick is just a no no! I apply this before i go to bed (its white like a moisturiser, not a great look during the day!) i wake up in the morning with soft and smooth lips. Couldn't live without this!

07. Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in shade 02:  Every beauty blogger under the sun has heard of this little beaut! Cant get enough of this this month! Its such a wearable shade and leaves my lips feeling super soft! Total winner! Would highly recommend this product!!

08.  La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo:  This has seriously changed my life! Its changed the texture of my skin, minimised my pores, I'm not breaking out half as much as i used to and its all thanks to this beaut! Iv got a post on this coming soon! I would highly recommend this product to anyone that can get their hands on it.

Hope all you lovelies had a fab January, I cant believe its February already!
